We pay experienced B2B SaaS operators to write honest reviews of the tools they actually use. If you have spent years inside a category and have strong opinions about which tools work and which ones waste people’s time and money, we want to hear from you.
What we publish
Category shortlists (“Best X tools for Y”), $1,200 to $2,500 depending on category depth, number of tools covered, and reviewer credentials. These require testing 5-12 tools on a standardized workflow and synthesizing the results into a ranked listicle with clear winner recommendations.
Head-to-head comparisons (X vs Y), $600 to $1,200. Two tools, identical test workflow, honest verdict. Most popular format for reader traffic and affiliate conversion.
Editorial essays and market analyses, $400 to $900. Opinion pieces on market consolidation, pricing shifts, category evolution. Require strong first-person voice and specific examples from real work. Not lists. Actual arguments.
Payment is net 30 from publication date, via bank transfer or PayPal.
Requirements
You must have used the tools you are reviewing for at least 3 weeks in a real work context. “Real work context” means an actual project with stakes, not a free trial account you made to write the piece. We check. Vendors and their PR agencies are not eligible to review their own products.
You must disclose any material relationships with tools you cover: former employee, investor, active customer on a comped account, affiliate. We do not automatically reject these, we disclose them and let readers weigh it.
Screenshots from inside your own account (not vendor-supplied marketing screenshots) are required. Minimum three per review, more is better.
No AI-generated content. We run AI-detection checks and we can tell. The whole point of this publication is that humans with real experience wrote the words.
How to pitch
Email editorial@topickz.com with:
- The tool or category you want to cover
- Your relevant experience (role, company type, how long you have used the tools)
- A short writing sample (250 words or more) showing your voice, ideally on a B2B SaaS topic
- Your expected timeline
We respond to pitches within 10 business days. If you do not hear back, a polite follow-up is fine.
Byline policy
Your name, photo, and bio appear on every piece you write. We link to your LinkedIn. We do not use ghost-writing or publish under house bylines unless you specifically request anonymity and we agree it is warranted (usually for pieces that discuss current employers).
Your byline stays on the piece permanently. If a piece is significantly updated in a future re-test cycle and someone else does the re-test, we note the update and add the second reviewer’s name.
