This policy covers the personal data TopickZ collects when you visit this website and how we use it. We are not a data company and collecting information about you is not our business model.
What we collect
When you browse TopickZ, our analytics system collects standard server log data: pages visited, referrer URL, browser type, country (not city). We use this to understand which content is useful and where traffic comes from. We do not track individuals across sessions or build behavioral profiles.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and the date of signup. That is it. We do not ask for your name, company, or role.
What we do not collect
We do not require account creation to read any content on this site. We do not collect payment information (our affiliate programs are run through vendor platforms; we never see your billing details). We do not track you with persistent cross-site tracking pixels.
Cookies
We use three types of cookies:
First-party analytics cookies. Set by our analytics system to count page views. Expire after 12 months. No personal identifier beyond a random session ID that rotates on each visit.
Affiliate tracking cookies. When you click a tracked link to a vendor tool, the vendor sets their own cookie so they can credit us for referrals. These cookies are set by the vendor, not us, and are governed by the vendor’s privacy policy. See our Cookies Policy for the full list of vendor domains that may set cookies.
No advertising cookies. We do not run display advertising. We do not use third-party ad networks. No retargeting pixels, no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads remarketing tags.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site earn us a commission when you sign up for a tool. These links are marked “affiliate link” or otherwise disclosed per FTC requirements. Clicking an affiliate link is the moment a vendor cookie may be set in your browser. The vendor’s tracking then tells them the referral came from us. We never see your name or payment data on the other end.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. In practice this is almost always just your email address if you subscribed to the newsletter.
