Most Topickz research is published under a team byline, Topickz Editorial Team , because that is how the work actually happens. A roundup of twenty tools is pricing pulled from twenty vendor pages, ratings verified against the review platforms, and a scoring pass against published criteria. Attributing that to one invented specialist would misrepresent it.
Every page still has a named human who is accountable for it.

How our editorial team works
- Primary sources only. Pricing comes from the vendor’s live pricing page on a dated check. Ratings come from the review platform itself.
- Verify or omit. When a rating, review count, or price cannot be confirmed from a real source, we publish without the number rather than estimate it.
- Honest labelling. Where a roundup is research-led rather than hands-on tested, the page says so at the top.
- Named sign-off. Rankings and comparisons are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, who publishes under his real name.
- Logged corrections. Pricing moves and review counts drift. Corrections are logged on the page they affect.
On author identities
We do not publish under borrowed or invented expert identities. When a page carries specialist input, that contributor is named, linked to their real professional profile, and has agreed to the attribution.
This is a change from how the site previously operated. Earlier versions of these pages carried invented reviewer personas, including two whose names were too close to those of real practitioners. Those bylines were retired in July 2026 and the affected pages now carry the team byline. If you believe your name or likeness has been used on this site without your agreement, email us via the contact page and we will remove it.
